Convent of the Mother of God (S. XVI)
This feminine convent knows a clearly americanista entailment, when conserving itself in lateral of presbiterio the tombs and yacentes sculptures of D.ª Juana de Zúñiga, widow of Courteous Hernán, and its daughter, D.ª Courteous Catherine. The altarpiece greater, pertaining to the Baroque plenary session, is a portentosa work of Francisco de Barahona, made between 1684 and 1690. The sculpture of the Virgin of the Rosary that presides over it must to Hieronymite Hernandez being dated in 1573.
