Parish of Santa Catherine (S. XIV)

Construction to mudéjar of century XIV on the location of one old mosque, of which the coffers and alminar subsist. Its cover, that comes from the missing church of Santa Lucia, example of the first stage of the architecture to mudéjar. It has great widening, eaves with dogs and chapels with doseletes in the lateral ones. Also it emphasizes his tower, hopeless in roof with merlones of launching slips of Cordovan tradition and with bays with horseshoe arcs.

It is the greater church of Seville, after the Cathedral. Typical church of Sevillian baroque style, constructed in century XVIII on a mosque, that was collapsed in century XVII dice its ruinous state. Of her they only conserve today the tower of the temple. It contains important sculptures of Mountain Martinez and Juan de Mesa.
At the moment closed by works.
