The municipality of the Puebla of the Infants is located to the northeast of the province of Seville, being adjacent with the one of Cordova. It is located in the space of transition between the Fertile valley of the Guadalquivir and first spurs of the North Mountain range, whose Natural Park belongs a small part of the term. In 1.996 it counted on a population of 3,591 inhabitants.

In century XVII, Felipe IV creates the Vizcondado of the Puebla of the Infants, that in the following century evolves to Marquesado.
The urban nucleus is located in a high plateau that does the times of valley surrounded by mountains, being structured by an East-West axis, that constitutes the passage of the highways that communicate to him with Constantina and Lora of the River (to the west) and with Peñaflor (to the east).
The original establishment corresponds with the irregular apple sector of small existing size to the south of the nucleus, that corresponds with the highest zone of the same one.
